Delete your account & data

You can permanently delete your CareerDost account and everything we hold about you, at any time, from inside the app. No email, form or reply from us is needed.
In the app
- Open CareerDost and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Tap “Delete my account”.
- Confirm. The deletion happens immediately and cannot be undone.
What is deleted straight away
- Your name, email address and Google account link
- Your profile photo
- Your language, timezone and notification settings
- Your plan, AI-credit balance and subscription record
- Every signed-in device session, on every device
- Your usage counters
What was never on our servers to delete
Your resumes, your job feed, your saved jobs and your application tracker are stored on your phone, not with us. Deleting your account from inside the app clears them from that phone too. If you asked us by email instead, we cannot reach your phone: uninstall the app to remove them.
If Android's backup is turned on for your phone, Android keeps its own copy of them in your Google account. We cannot see or delete that copy. It is replaced the next time your phone backs up, and you can delete it yourself at any time in your Google account's backup settings.
Resume files you imported were never stored: each one is read in memory and discarded during the import.
Cancel a subscription first
Deleting your account does not cancel a paid subscription, because Google Play is the seller, not us. Cancel it in the Play Store (Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions) before you delete the account, or you will keep being billed.
If you cannot open the app
Email careerdost@bhagisheela.com from the address you signed in with, with the subject “Delete my account”. We will delete it within 7 days and confirm by reply.
